We became stranded in Yass due to a car fault. The staff at Swaggers were so accommodating. I am so grateful to the owners for going above and beyond. The room was quiet despite having a family next door. The food at the restaurant was great. Service was exceptional. I highly recommend Swaggers!
Good value, nice owners. Nothing flash but as good as it needs to be for a stopover on a long trip. The simple continental breakfast is a nice extra.
We were warmly welcomed by our host on arrival at Swaggers Motor Inn. The exterior of the rooms was attractive with some greenery scattered around. The room was large and roomy, with a separate kitchenette and bathroom, but a shared sink. An apartment-sized refrigerator and basic food prep amenities were also available. The shower was hot with a good hot water flow. The room was furnished with a reverse cycle air conditioner and electric blankets which we were grateful for, as the night was quite cold. We had dinner at the restaurant attached to the accommodation and were delighted with the quality of the food and service. Our stay came with a complimentary continental buffet breakfast which was adequate but nothing special. We are glad to have booked the same motel for our return journey!
I stayed at Swaggers on my way to Brisbane. The first time since the new owners have taken over. The owners were friendly and courteous. The room was well appointed and supplied everything that was needed. The grounds were well maintained and the owners are gradually upgrading the furnishings. There was plenty of car parking available. It was a pleasure to stay there and I am sure to use this place as my ongoing stopover. It is good to see a more positive and friendly attitude from the owners. Good luck to the guys on their new venture.
